Wood Opalite is a form of fossilised wood. Rather like a Jasper, it is created when hot mineral rich volcanic water replaces wood buried in sediments and over the course of a few million years, leaves behind a perfect copy in stone. Beautiful flat polished beads, triangular Onyx spacers and Spinel, with a satined Sterling Silver double C clasp. 52cm. Every batch of Wood Opalite is unique and this is a particularly nice example where the colours are an echo of the original wood. The price barely cover the cost of material and stringing.
