Hand blown art glass. Although not immediately obvious, this is a cane glass technique. The blower puts a short strip of stripey rod into the initial globe of molten glass and it flows and expands over the surface. Opaque and clear glass. Limited edition made for us and each signed by the craftsman who makes them for us right here in the UK. Average 27cm tall. Unfortunately Mike got carried away and blew three that turned out just too large to fit in the largest box we have - so these just don't come in our normal gift box. Less money for more vase?
