Every single one of these beads is an individually handmade work of art created on the island of Murano in the Venetian lagoon. The beads are made by women (called Perlera) and as well as the detailed surface decoration, many contain gold leaf or require expensive pigments. All pieces come with a certificate of authenticity. 22cm long.
