Once you reach our checkout, our internet site is fully secure and uses SSL 128 bit encryption. We accept payment by credit card on the site - however no payments are processed on the card until the goods are ready to despatch. The credit card details are not seen by Braybrook & Britten or stored by us, but held by one of the highly secure Credit Card Processing Gateways approved by the credit card companies and banks.
We are able to confirm or refund trasactions and check security data such as postcode match, but your card details are never visible to us as the retailer.
Any additional queries can be forwarded by telephone, fax or emailing email@example.com
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 3 reasons: firstly, to process your order, second, to make it easier to make future orders by retaining your address and contact information and finally we occassionally analyse the demographics of our customers to give us a better idea of who they are and where they are.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. You may unsubscribe from all emails from us using the unsubscribe function in the email, or by contacting us.
We will give you the chance to refuse or unsubscribe from any marketing email from us, although we send only a handful a year - usually to alert you if we are having a Sale, which is worth knowing!. We do not supply your email addresses to any other company or use it to market other products or services. We are a bit old fashioned about that sort of thing. We DO NOT rent our customer postal addresses to other mail order companies. That's pretty unusual these days.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
We will never collect sensitive information about you.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

We typically send catalogues to our customers just twice a year. It is quite expensive to produce, so we only want to send it to people who really want to read it. Customers who have recently placed orders or requested a catalogue will be included in future mailings.
If you do not wish to receive the catalogue by post, just ask us and we will remove your address from future mailings.
If you have not placed an order for some time, your adress will be removed from mailings.
If the catalogue bounces back to us via Royal Mail for whatever reason, we will remove the address from future mailings.
Our customer address database is kept as up to date as possible and occassionally cleaned to remove the address of those who have moved house or are deceased.
