There's something a tad more exciting and civilised about passing the claret jug or port decanter with its gentle chink of the crystal glass stopper. We use lead crystal in our decanters and claret jugs, blown for us by names like Dartington, Royal Brierley and Atlantis. The silver mounts are hallmarked in London.
